The second edition of SA20, Cricket South Africa's (CSA) premier T20 tournament, is all set to start on Wednesday (January 10) and conclude on February 10 with the title clash in the final.
Like last season, SA20 will see six teams play each other twice in a round-robin stage (home and away) in season 2 as well with the top four heading into the playoffs instead of the semi-final knock out format that was used in the inuagural edition.

The playoff will follow the IPL format of two qualifiers, eliminator and then the final to decide the winner. There will be a total of 34 matches contested across six different venues, the home grounds of the six franchises.
Top T20 talent from across the world as well as South African established stars and rising talents will participate in the SA20 season 2. The teams assembled their squads at the player auction last year and each team has at least 6 overseas stars in their side.
