Sachin loves Chepauk, looking for a big score tomorrow
Chennai, Jan 26 (UNI) Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar today said he was hoping to hit good form in the third ODI against the West Indies tomorrow as the M A Chidambaram stadium here has been a ''special ground for him.'' Speaking at a function in which Union Minister Dayanidhi Maran inaugurated the platinum jubilee celebrations of Tamil Nadu Cricket Association(TNCA) by releasing a commemorative stamp at the ground, Sachin said the historic Chepauk ground always occupied a special place in his heart.
Sachin's observations stemmed from the fact that he had played some sterling knocks in both Test and ODI matches here, including his famous Test century against Wasim Akram-led Pakistani team in January 1999. He had also scored three more hundreds at this ground.
About the day-night ODI tomorrow which India need to win to wrap up the four match series 3-0, the Mumbai legend said, ''It will be a great match''.
Sachin has not been in great form after his return to the team following his shoulder elbow injuries although he had played a few sparkling knocks besides exhibiting a glimpse of his skills as a surprise weapon in the bowling attack on a few occasions.
The master blaster and Team India captain Rahul Dravid were also felicitated on the occasion.
