Earlier this month, cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar inaugurated a boardroom named in his honour-'SRT 100'-at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai. A video shared by the BCCI on Saturday, May 17, captured the moment where Tendulkar reflected on his memorable journey in Indian cricket.
Widely acknowledged as one of the greatest batters in the history of the game, Tendulkar was joined by fellow legend Sunil Gavaskar, who also had a room dedicated in his name during the same event.

Speaking at the ceremony, Tendulkar fondly recalled his early days with the Indian team:
"Bang opposite the Cricket Club of India, a small room was there, and I still remember visiting that place, which was the BCCI office back in 1989, when I went on my first tour of Pakistan. From there to this place, it's a remarkable transformation."
As he admired India's rich trophy cabinet at the new facility, Tendulkar remarked on the significance of the space:
"What makes the place even more special is these priceless trophies. It's a reflection of what the office bearers of the BCCI and the players have been able to plan and execute in helping the country to achieve this. So these are priceless moments."
The title 'SRT 100' is a tribute to Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar and his unmatched achievement of scoring 100 international centuries-a world record yet to be surpassed.
For years, Virat Kohli has been seen as the only player with the potential to chase down Tendulkar's incredible feat. When Tendulkar notched his 100th century and was asked who might eclipse his record, he named two players: Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
Ironically, both Kohli and Rohit announced their Test retirements within the same week recently. Kohli, who stepped away from red-ball cricket on Monday, remains 18 centuries shy of the 100-mark and now has only limited-overs cricket left-possibly for another couple of years.
With the 50-over format under constant scrutiny and its future often debated, the challenge of scoring 19 more ODI hundreds appears increasingly steep for even a player of Kohli's calibre.
