Sachin Tendulkar praises Dhawan, Pujara and Kohli for Galle Test win
Bengaluru, July 29: Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar today (July 29) praised the Indian team for their massive victory over Sri Lanka in the first Test.
In Galle on Saturday, Virat Kohli-led side thrashed Sri Lanka by 304 runs. With this, they took a 1-0 lead in the three-match rubber. The second Test starts in Colombo on August 3.

Former India captain Tendulkar, who is active on social media, took to the micro-blogging website Twitter to hail the performances of centurions Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan and Cheteshwar Pujara.
"A massive victory to begin the tour. Great work #TeamIndia! Exceptional performance by @SDhawan25, @cheteshwar1 and @imVkohli!," Tendulkar wrote.
Dhawan, Pujara and Kohli impressed with the bat in the Test. While Dhawan made 190 and Pujara hit 153 in the first innings, the skipper scored an unbeaten 103 in the second essay.
Opener Abhinav Mukund too made an impact with 81 in the second innings. "I thought Abhinav really batted well. He deserved a hundred as well," Kohli said after the match.
Man-of-the-match Dhawan said, "I really enjoyed batting over here. I just watched the ball and backed my game. There is a very healthy competition for the opening spot in the side, and it keeps me on my toes."
