Sachin Tendulkar Turns 50: How Cricket Fraternity Wished The Master Blaster

Mumbai, April 24: It's a celebration of a billion as Indian cricket icon and the country's favourite son, the Master Blaster - Sachin Tendulkar turned 50 on Monday (April 24).

The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) is the only player to have scored a 100 international hundreds in his 22-year playing career. He amassed over 34000 runs across formats.

The icon already cut a cake during the IPL 2023 match on Saturday (April 22) in front of the Mumbai Indians dugout and had said that reaching 50 was his 'slowest half-century'.

The Mumbai Indians franchise, for whom Tendulkar played for all his six years in the IPL from 2008-2013, made arrangements to celebrate the occasion. While more cakes are being cut for the legend who retired 10 years ago, the cricket fraternity wished him on his golden jubilee.
