Sachin to inaugurate book exhibition, recite Marathi poem

Mumbai, Oct 27 (UNI) Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar will inaugurate a Marathi book exhibition and a photographs exhibition on forts of Chhatrapati Shivaji here on October 30.

Sachin will also recite a Marathi poem on the occasion, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena president Raj Thackeray, whose students are has organising the exhibitions, said here today. The exhibitions will continue till November 4.

Raj Thackeray, who had organised Michael Jackson's show and Lata Mangeshkar concert nearly a decade back, told reporters that the book exhibition will be an annual feature.

He said that Rajashivaji.com had clicked over one lakh photographs of forts of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and many of them will also be exhibited in this exhibition.

Apart from Sachin, Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare and Jabbar Patel will also be present for the function and would also recite Marathi poems on the occasion.
