Sahibzada Farhan lit up the match between Pakistan and Namibia in the T20 World Cup 2026 with a scintillating century on Wednesday (February 18).
The Pakistan batter opened the innings and scored an unbeaten 100 off 58 deliveries, hitting 11 fours and 4 sixes in his knock.

Farhan, who has been the key batter for Pakistan in this World Cup, has now also claimed the top spot among the players in this competition. Farhan's knock propelled Pakistan to a decent total of 199/3, which is also a must win for them to advance to the Super 8 stages of the competition.
Pakistan's only other century in T20 World Cup history is scored by Ahmed Shehzad in 2014. Shehzad scored an unbeaten 111 vs Bangladesh in T20 World Cup 2014.
Ahmed Shehzad's century came in the 27th Match of Group 2 during the ICC World T20 2014 at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka, on March 30, 2014. Opening the batting, Shehzad scored an unbeaten 111 off 62 balls (10 fours, 5 sixes, strike rate 179.03), powering Pakistan to 190/5 in 20 overs. This was Pakistan's first-ever T20I century and made Shehzad the first Pakistani to achieve hundreds in all three international formats (Test, ODI, T20I) at the time.
Pakistan have posted a commanding 199/3 in 20 overs against Namibia, fueled by Sahibzada Farhan's masterful unbeaten century. The opener anchored the innings with stylish strokeplay, reaching his ton in emphatic fashion to set a daunting target. Captain Salman Agha (38 off 23, 3x4, 2x6) provided the early momentum with aggressive hitting before falling to Brassell. Saim Ayub chipped in 14 off 12, while Khawaja Nafay's brief 5-ball stay ended via Erasmus' sharp return catch. Shadab Khan (36* off 22, 1x4, 3x6) then unleashed fireworks in an unbroken 71-run stand with Farhan.
