The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has unveiled the final list of players for the inaugural auction of The Hundred, set to take place on March 12, 2026.
Among the overseas talents, 14 Pakistani players have made the cut, showcasing a blend of established stars and emerging prospects. This trimmed longlist follows an initial registration of over 60 Pakistani cricketers, highlighting the competitive selection process for the high-profile 100-ball tournament.

Haris Rauf, the fiery fast bowler known for his express pace and death-over prowess, stands out as one of the marquee overseas players. Retained by Welsh Fire at a base price of £100,000, Rauf's inclusion is a boost for Pakistan's representation. Having previously featured in the league, where he impressed with his yorkers and variations, Rauf was recently omitted from Pakistan's T20 World Cup squad but has bounced back strongly.
His marquee status places him alongside global icons like Aiden Markram, David Miller, Sunil Narine, and Daryl Mitchell, ensuring his lot will kick off the men's auction proceedings. Rauf's selection underscores his value in short-format cricket, where his ability to turn games with raw speed has made him a sought-after asset.
From the initial list of 63 Pakistani names, the final draft includes only 14, with the World Cup discard Haris Rauf among them.
The Pakistani contingent is led by top-tier names at the £100,000 reserve price, including Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shadab Khan, Saim Ayub, Mohammad Nawaz, and Naseem Shah.
Lower brackets feature talents like Usman Tariq, Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Amir, Zaman Khan, Usama Mir, Imad Wasim, Akif Javed, and Salman Mirza, offering depth in spin, seam, and finishing roles.
However, a glaring omission is Sahibzada Farhan, the in-form batsman who has been Pakistan's standout performer at the ongoing T20 World Cup. Farhan, 29, tops the run charts with centuries against Namibia and Sri Lanka, amassing over 400 runs at a strike rate exceeding 150. Just last week, he expressed optimism about his prospects in The Hundred, citing interest from franchises.
Registered at £50,000, Farhan's exclusion from the final list has raised eyebrows, especially given his limited overseas experience but explosive domestic form.
