Saim Ayub has recently reclaimed the number one spot in the ICC Men's T20I All-Rounder Rankings, marking a significant milestone in his cricketing career.
The 23-year-old Pakistani all-rounder achieved a career-best rating of 295 points after an impressive performance in the Tri-Series final against Sri Lanka, where he contributed both with the ball and the bat.

In that match, Ayub took one wicket for 17 runs in four overs and scored a quick 36 runs, efforts that helped him surpass Zimbabwe's Sikandar Raza to top the all-rounders' list once again. This accomplishment is particularly notable as it follows his earlier rise to the top rank in September 2025, when he first overtook India's Hardik Pandya.
Ayub's recent form has been pivotal to his rise. His all-round skills were on full display during the Tri-Series, where he showed significant impact as a wicket-taker and a capable batsman. Beyond the all-rounder rankings, Ayub also made leaps in the T20I bowling rankings, climbing 12 places to 39th and moving up two slots to 35th among batters.
Over his T20I career, he has amassed over 1,000 runs with an aggressive strike rate of around 133, and taken 16 wickets, demonstrating a balanced contribution in both disciplines. Additionally, his impressive bowling during the Asia Cup, where he took eight wickets at an economy rate of 6.40, further solidified his standing and helped him reach the number one ranking previously.
Hardik Pandya has maintained his 7th place in the latest T20I rankings, while Axar Patel has gone up a place to claim the 10th spot. Nepal's Dipendra Airee is currently 8th, the only player to make the list among associate nations.
