Pakistan's impressive form in T20Is this year has been reflected in the latest ICC T20I rankings, with Saim Ayub, Babar Azam, and Salman Agha all making significant progress following their strong performances against South Africa.

Meanwhile, India's Abhishek Sharma continues to reign supreme among batters, while Varun Chakravarthy maintains his dominance at the top of the bowling charts.

ICC T20I Rankings

Pakistan have enjoyed a stellar 2025, winning four of their five bilateral series, including a 2-1 home win over South Africa. Their consistent performers have been duly rewarded - Babar Azam has surged nine spots to joint 30th, Saim Ayub climbed 10 places to 39th, and Salman Agha moved up 10 positions to 54th.

The week also brought gains for several other players. West Indies skipper Shai Hope rose to 12th, Bangladesh's Tanzid Hasan jumped 20 spots to 17th, and the Afghan duo Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran climbed to 15th and 20th, respectively.

On the bowling front, India's Varun Chakravarthy remains unchallenged at the top, continuing his fine run in the format. Australia's Josh Hazlewood rose two places to 10th, while spinners Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Mahedi Hasan made notable leaps. West Indies' Jason Holder and Roston Chase, along with Zimbabwe's Sikandar Raza, also enjoyed significant boosts. South Africa's Corbin Bosch, who topped the wicket charts against Pakistan, jumped 15 places to 38th, while Salman Mirza and Faheem Ashraf entered the top 100.

In the T20I all-rounders' rankings, Sikandar Raza and Roston Chase climbed to second and third, while Saim Ayub retained the top spot.

There were also shifts in the ODI rankings, with New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell rising to third after his stellar series against England, while Rachin Ravindra and England pacer Jofra Archer also made notable gains in their respective lists.
