Sanju Samson has done justice to his immense talent finally after a consistent opportunity in the Indian team.
The Kerala-born batter has showcased his batting might in the last five T20I matches for India, scoring three centuries in the process.

After a fantastic hundred against Bangladesh, Samson doubled it up with another ton against South Africa in Durban. Samson then got dismissed for a couple of ducks but came back strongly in the final match with another century.
After his excellent performance for India, the Rajasthan Royals batter is going to captain Kerala in the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Kerala has named a strong SMAT 2024-25 squad and Sanju will be the key nucleus of the side.
And ahead of that, former India women's coach Biju George heaped praises on the Kerala star in an exclusive chat with MyKhel.
"Sanju has absolutely arrived and no better way [to arrive]. He is an impact player. So, whenever he scores big, India is going to win. India or Kerala or Rajasthan Royals, whichever team he plays for, the minute he does good, they are going to win for sure," Biju George, who was part of the Delhi Capitals coaching staff in IPL 2024, said MyKhel.
Samson is one of the retained players ahead of the IPL mega auction. He is the captain of Rajasthan Royals and will continue to lead them after being retained for a whopping Rs 18 crore.
Kerala has a decent number of representatives in the IPL 2025 mega auction, which will take place in Jeddah on November 24 and 25. And George believes there are a few players who may be picked by the franchises.
"I think Sachin Baby can be picked. Apart from him, Vishnu Vinod, Azharuddeen, Abdul Bazith also have a chance. Also, Salman Nizar has an opportunity to be picked," he concluded.
After a fantastic outing with the Indian team, the 30-year-old will be hoping to showcase his class in the domestic circuit. With India's next limited-overs assignment a couple of months away, the primary focus for the India batter will be to stay fit and continue his purple patch with the bat.
George, who has seen the emergence of Samson from an early age, says the India batter can propel himself to higher grounds in the coming years.
