The Kerala Cricket Association has suspended former India cricketer Sreesanth regarding his comments on the Sanju Samson row with the association.
On Friday, KCA announced that they have banned Sreesanth from all activities for three years for defamatory comments against the association.

"Following the controversial remarks, the KCA had issued show-cause notices to Sreesanth and the franchisee teams Kollam Aries, Alleppey Team Lead content creator Sai Krishnan, and Alleppey Ripples. As the franchisee teams gave satisfactory replies to the notice, the meeting decided not to proceed with further action against them. However, the KCA instructed the team management to be vigilant when including members," the statement from KCA read.
Apart from that, KCA has also taken action against Sanju Samson's father for his remarks, seeking legal action for compensation against the India player's father. Along with that, a news anchor is also under sanction from KCA for the allegations. Earlier in the year, Viswanath had publicly criticised the KCA, accusing certain officials of deliberately undermining his son's cricketing career.
MyKhel talked exclusively with KCA president Jayesh George, who was clear about the sanctions against the aforementioned parties.
"The defamatory action has been taken against those who did so," George said to MyKhel.
When asked if Sreesanth's ban will ultimately be revoked, he clearly cited that the former player has been granted a three-year ban, without giving any other indications.
Sanju Samson has been the centre of the controversy, which started when he was left out of Kerala's Vijay Hazare squad. Sanju, as per KCA, told the association that he will not be available for the pre-tournament camp. The Kerala team had a camp in Wayanad without Sanju, and then the India star was not considered for the tournament.
But when MyKhel asked about whether the association will mend its relationship with Samson, Jayesh George had nothing wrong to say about the Rajasthan Royals captain.
"There is no point [of speculating that]. Sanju Samson has done nothing wrong," thus indicating that the door remains open for the India player.
