Sanju Samson registers two T20 Milestones with One Six, joins Elite List

In the 5th T20I match between India and South Africa, Sanju Samson registered his name with two prestigious milestones with a solitary shot.

At the Narendra Modi stadium, India has been put to bat first, and opening the innings, Sanju hit a sublime six in the 2nd over of the match.

The India batter timed the ball over long on in regal style, which cleared the distance. And with that strike, Sanju brought about two milestones.

Sanju Samson got to 1000 T20I runs for India with the strike, while it also brought about 8000 T20 runs for the Kerala batter.

"Sanju Samson is such terrific player. He has been out of the side for a long time and the ease of the shot is amazing. It is not easy to sit out for a long time and suddenly time the ball in the way he has done," a commentator said on-air as the star player hit that terrific shot.

Sanju Samson has now become only the 14th Indian player to get to 1000 T20I runs. The India batter has joined in the list of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and others.
