The third season of Saurashtra Premier League - SPL 2023, one of India's premier domestic T20 tournament, is all set to begin on Wednesday (August 23) with the final scheduled for a week later on August 31.

Five teams will battle it out across eight days in a round-robin format. The top two teams will advance to the final to be crowned champions of Saurashtra. A total of 11 matches, including the final, will be staged at the Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) Stadium in Rajkot.

Saurashtra Premier League 2023 will feature five teams: Zalawad Royals, Kutch Warriors, Halar Heroes, Sorath Lions, and Gohilwad Gladiators. The teams will feature some prominent names in Saurashtra cricket like Sheldon Jackson and Chetan Sakariya among others.

The opening fixture of this season will be played between last season's finalists, Halar Heroes and Gohilwad Galdiators. This season will see 16 out of 17 players from Saurashtra's 2022/23 Ranji Trophy winning squad take the field.

The third season of SPL will start with single round-robin fixtures on Wednesday (August 23) and conclude with the SPL 2023 Final on August 31. All the matches will be played at the SCA Stadium in Rajkot.
