New Delhi, Apr 18: IPL Semi Finals shifted from Bangalore to Mumbai after the two low intesity explosions happened before the 52nd IPL match between RCB and MI at Bangalore's Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Security will be watertight: Modi
Amidst the security concern over the IPL matches in Bangalore, Indian Premier League organizers have said that the security for the remaining part of the tournament will be 'watertight'.

"We are talking to police and government officials about security arrangements. We are feeling quite confident" IPL commission Lalit Modi said on Sunday, Apr 18.

Four crude bombs have been found near Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore, two of which went off on Saturday, Apr 18, ahead of the IPL match between Bangalore Royal Challengers and Mumbai Indians. 12 people were injured in the twin blasts.

Modi said that two extra layers of security will added to ensure a smooth semifinals and final matches.

"It will be a little inconvenient for the spectators but we"re leaving no stone unturned. Security will be watertight," he said.

M R Poojar, a senior local police official said that initial investigation into the twin blasts has revealed that the explosives used in the blasts were locally made and of low intensity.

However, Poojar said that it is too early to blame anyone for the blasts.
