New Delhi, May 26: Two time champions Kolkata Knight Riders' campaign in Indian Premier League 9 ended after going down to Sunrisers Hyderabad by 22 runs in the eliminator here on Wednesday.

Playing at his home ground, Gambhir failed to read the bounce of the Kotla track as he miscued a short delivery from Ben Cutting.

KKR had restricted Sunrisers to 162/8 after sending them to bat.

Not only fans, even the cheerleaders were saddened to see this loss.

After KKR moved out of IPL, Shah Rukh Khan tweeted an image of KKR cheerleaders which wil surprise everyone. The cheerleaders were seen crying in the image.

The Sunrisers will now take on Gujarat Lions in the second qualifier on Friday for a place in Sunday's final against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
