The Bollywood superstar arrived at the iconic stadium with his manager Pooja Dadlani and bodyguard Ravi Singh. The fans welcomed 'King Khan’ with loud cheers whenever he was shown on the big screen of the Eden Gardens.

Recently, a video of Islamabad United all-rounder Imad Wasim smoking in the National Stadium, Karachi dressing room also went viral during the PSL 2024 final. Wasim was shown smoking in the dressing after taking a match-winning five-wicket-haul against Multan Sultans.

Shah Rukh Khan is not new to controversies at the stadiums. In the IPL 2012 edition, the 58-year-old was banned from Wankhede Stadium for five years after an altercation with security staff and officials of Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).

Talking about the match, KKR defeated SRH in a last-over thriller by four runs. After piling up 208/7 on the back of a 20-ball fifty from Andre Russell (64* off 25), KKR defended the target despite a valiant effort from Heinrich Klaasen.

The SRH wicketkeeper-batter smashed as many as eight sixes to score 63 off 39 balls. With 13 runs needed in the six balls, pacer Harshit Rana managed to defend the target despite leaking a six on the first delivery of the 20th over. Russell, who also picked the wickets of Abhishek Sharma and Abdul Samad, was adjudged Man of the Match.
