Pakistan's Shaheen Afridi has been dethroned from the summit spot as the fastest pacer to reach 100 ODI wickets.
The Pakistan pacer has lost his top status to another Pakistan-origin pacer, who has racked up the numbers in two fewer matches than Afridi.

Bilal Khan, the Oman seamer, made history on Thursday (July 25) by becoming the fastest seamer to reach 100 ODI wickets. He accomplished this milestone in just 49 matches, surpassing Shaheen Afridi's previous record. Afridi had achieved the same feat in 51 ODIs.
During Oman's ICC CWC League 2 match against Namibia, Bilal took three wickets, finishing with figures of 3/50 in his ten overs. His efforts helped restrict Namibia to a total of 196/9 after their allotted 50 overs.
Bilal debuted in ODIs in April 2019 and has since secured four five-wicket hauls in this format. His impressive record extends to T20s as well, where he has claimed 110 wickets in 78 games at an economy rate of 6.78.
When it comes to Indian pacers, Mohammed Shami is the quickest to get to a century of scalps as he achieved the milestone in 56 matches. Closely after Shami is Jasprit Bumrah, who got to the mark in 57 matches.
