Shaheen Afridi misbehaved with coaches, Pakistan players lobby against each other: Reports

Another fresh set of controversy has emerged in Pakistan cricket as a shocking report regarding Shaheen Afridi and other Pakistan players has been hovering since Wednesday evening.

Pakistan had a dismal T20 World Cup outing which saw them eliminated from the group stages. The controversies at the team with Babar Azam as captain and a disjointed squad were anticipated, but now it has been revealed that Shaheen Afridi was also a big nuisance for the team.

As per the report which was submitted by Pakistan coach Gary Kirsten and assistant coach Azhar Mahmood, shocking revelations have arisen.

Shaheen Afridi misbehaved with Coaches during T20 World Cup

The reports in Pakistan media have revealed that coaches put a strong report against some of the Pakistan players during the T20 World Cup and the England-Ireland tour before that. Kirsten's submitted report has reportedly strongly criticized Shaheen Afridi, who has been accused of misbehaving with the coaches. The senior team management personnel Wahab Riaz and Mansoor Rana didn't even take any action against the player despite his misbehaviours.

There are also reports that Gary Kirsten and Azhar Mahmood complained of lobbying among the players within the team. The players have also been accused of planning against each other.

This has come to light after the sacking of Wahab Riaz and Abdur Razzaq as selectors. The former also took to social media to defend himself but it has no doubt that Pakistan cricket has been sabotaged by the inner circle.

Shaheen Afridi's abrupt termination as captain and Babar Azam's reappointment had already ignited the spark in a major conflict and it is being reported that the lack of harmony in the team is one of the major reasons behind Pakistan's dismal display of late.
