Shaun Marsh to Virat Kohli: Meet all the Orange Cap winners in IPL

A list of all 9 Orange Cap winners in Indian Premier League (IPL).

Rajasthan Royals had won the trophy in the inaugural edition followed by Deccan Charges in the succeeding season.

Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians have won the coveted title twice and Sunrisers Hyderabad won it last season.

T20 cricket, as we all know, is predominantly dominated by the batsmen. The fans flock the stadiums in numbers to watch their favourite stars hit the ball out of the park.

In the last 9 years, we have seen some scintillating batting performances from some of the finest batsmen in the world.

The Orange Cap which is given to the highest run scorer of a particular season has switched hands several times in the last 9 seasons.

Australian batsman Shaun Marsh bagged the Orange Cap in the first season scoring 616 runs. Chris Gayle has bagged the honour twice in 2011 and 2012.

Sachin Tendulkar was the first Indian batsman to win the Cap in 2010. Till date, only two Indians batsmen other than the Sachin have won it, Robin Uthappa in 2014 and Virat Kohli in 2016.

Among all the Orange Cap winners, Royal Challengers Bangalore's Kohli scored the most number of runs to bag it, 973 runs.
