Shikhar Dhawan Divorce: A Delhi court on Wednesday granted divorce to India the star India opener on the grounds of cruelty from his wife Aesha Mukerji who lives in Australia.

The court found Aesha guilty for subjecting the star India cricketer to mental agony by compelling him to live separately from his son Zoravar for years.

Dhawan in his petition has said that Mukerji initially assured the cricketer of setting up a matrimonial home in India after marriage. However, she failed to do so given her commitments to ex-husband and two daughters she has with him in Australia.

Further, the court also took into account Shikhar Dhawan's contention that his wife compelled him to make her the 99% owner of three properties bought in Australia using his money. She also coerced him to become a joint owner in other properties.

Yograj Singh: The former India cricketer married Shabnam Kaur and the couple together had two sons. Their elder son Yuvraj Singh went on to become a famous Indian cricketer. However, the two parted ways and Yograj Singh married Satbir Kaur. He has a son and a daughter from his second marriage.

It is heard that Shabnam Kaur wanted to build her own career and the idea was not supported by Yogaraj. Yuvraj Singh opted to stay with his mother but started his cricket training under his father.

Mohammad Azharuddin: The former India captain ended his marriage of nine years with Naureen Azharuddin to marry Bollywood actress Sangeeta Bijlani. He had two sons with his first wife. Mohammad Ayazuddin died in a road accident in 2011, while elder son Mohammad Asaduddin married Anam Mirza, the sister of former tennis star Sania Mirza, in 2019.

Azharuddin's marriage with Bijlani also ended in a divorce in 2010.

Dinesh Karthik: The India wicketkeeper-batter's marriage with his first wife Nikita Banjara ended in 2012. She married Karthik's India and Tamil Nadu teammate Murali Vijay after divorce with Dinesh Karthik.

Dinesh Karthik later married star squash player Deepika Pallikal in 2015. The couple became parents to twin boys, Kabir and Zian on 18 October, 2021.

Javagal Srinath: The former India pacer married his first wife Jyothsna in 1999. However, the marriage failed and he later married journalist Madhavi Patravali in 2008.

Vinod Kambli: The former India batter first married Noella Lewis. She worked as a receptionist at Hotel Blue Diamond, Pune in the year 1998. He parted ways with her and married fashion model Andrea Hewitt later. The couple has a child born in June 2010.Post her second marriage, Kambli converted to Christianity.
