IPL 2023: Subman Gill tops unique club of centurions

By Mykhel Staff

Shubman Gill on Friday set a new record as the Gujarat Titans opener blasted a 60-ball 129 to take his side to 233/3 against Mumbai Indians in IPL 2023 Qualifier 2 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The batter shot his third century this IPL while setting career milestones.

This was, in fact, Shubman Gill's third century in four innings as the batter earlier scored back-to-back centuries (104* and 101) against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the fag end of the league phases. The 23-year-old batter also scored 94* against Lucknow Super Giants earlier this month as well.
