Sri Lanka A will face Bangladesh A in Match 10 of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 on Tuesday, October 22, at the Al Amerat stadium in Oman.
Bangladesh A, who finished as runners-up with their U23 side in the 2019 edition of the tournament, started their Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 journey on good form. They secured a thrilling five-wicket victory against Hong Kong in their opening match, thanks to a brilliant performance by Akbar Ali, who scored 45 runs off just 24 balls.

After a defeat against Afghanistan A by four wickets, Bangladesh A will look to get back to winning ways when it takes the field against a strong Sri Lanka A side.
Like their opponents, the Lankans also suffered a defeat to Afghanistan A, losing by 11 runs on the opening day despite a valiant effort from Nuwanidu Fernando, who scored 51 runs off 32 balls.
However, they followed it up with a massive 42-run win against Hong Kong, with their batting line-up impressing once again. They would like to carry on the momentum in the crucial match on Tuesday at the Al Amerat stadium.
