Sri Lanka A will go against Hong Kong in Match 5 of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 on Sunday, October, at the Al Amerat stadium in Oman.
Both teams will come into the match after sustaining a loss on the opening day of the tournament. Tournament underdog Hong Kong was expected to struggle against a strong Bangladesh A team, and they suffered a five-wicket loss despite posting a promising total of 150/8.

Meanwhile, 2017 champions Sri Lanka A were defeated by Afghanistan A by 11 runs, but a half-century by the skipper Nuwanidu Fernando as well as an impressive knock by Ahan Wickramasinghe will be a silver lining for the Asian giants.
Despite their uncertain form, Sri Lanka A will enter the match as the favourites, boasting a team featuring the likes of Ramesh Mendis. But Nizakat Khan and Co. have enjoyed a steady rise among the Associate Nations in recent years, and they will look to give the Lankans a run for their money on Sunday.
