SMAT 2023: Rinku Singh played yet another exceptional knock on Thursday and helped Uttar Pradesh post 169/3 in the quarter-finals of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2023. Rinku Singh smashed unbeaten 33 runs off 77 balls with a strike rate of 233.33.
The innings from the 26-year-old southpaw smashed four hundreds and six sixes and forged an unbeaten 116-run partnership off 55 balls for the fourth wicket with Sameer Rizvi (42* off 29).

Rinku Singh was batting on 38 off 21 at the end of 18 overs but upped the ante further in the 19th over from Siddarth Kaul. He hit two maximums on the first two balls and then ran two doubles and a single. The Uttar Pradesh (UP) batter then hammered three sixes in the final over from Punjab pacer and India international Arshdeep Singh.
He has played the role of a finisher to perfection in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2023. He has scores of 22, 58*, 50*, 31*, 15, 3 and 77*. Overall, he has scored 256 runs in seven matches at an average of 85.33 and a whopping strike rate of 170.66.
