The 17th edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy is set to begin on the 23rd of November, 2024. All 38 Ranji Trophy teams will participate in this tournament, and the teams have been divided into five groups.
Tamil Nadu, the champion of the 2021-22 season, will compete in Group B along with seven other teams: Baroda, Gujarat, Karnataka, Saurashtra, Sikkim, Tripura, and Uttarakhand. Their first match is against Tripura on 23rd November.
