India Women were five down for 99 at one stage, but the impactful innings from Smriti Mandhana powered India to 265/8 at the end of 50 overs. India later won the match by 143 runs.

India Women captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who scored 10 runs in the match played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, dropped a spot to 11th in the last Women's ODI rankings for batters. Deepti Sharma (20th) is the third-highest ranked ODI batter among India Women players. Jemimah Rodrigues is ranked 33.

Pooja Vastrakar was up by three places to 38th. Vastarkar was a big gainer in the women’s ODI charts for all-rounders, with the 24-year-old gaining four places to improve to 18th. South Africa veteran Marizanne Kapp remains the No.1 ranked ODI all-rounder.

Natalie Sciver-Brunt dethrones Chamari Athapaththu as number one ranked women's ODI batter

Mandhana (715 points) is behind Sri Lanka’s Chamari Athapaththu, who lost her number one ranking to England’s Natalie Sciver-Brunt. The English all-rounder regained her number one spot by scoring a superb 124 not out against Pakistan last month.

In the ODI bowling list, off-spinner Deepti gained one place to move to fourth after tidy figures of 2/10 in six overs in the first ODI against South Africa opener. England spinner Sophie Ecclestone continues to remain the number one ranked women's ODI bowler in the world.

Ecclestone has a 70-point lead over Australia Women pacer Megan Schutt. England's Kate Cross is occupying the third spot. Renuka Singh (30th) has the second-best ranking among India women bowlers.
