Son Ayazuddin's bike accident: Azhar to face legal action?

Hyderabad, Sep 13: Mohammed Azharuddin's son, Ayazuddin's health condition is still critical as doctors informed on Tuesday, Sep 13. Amid this tensed situation, another trouble may hit the former Cricket captain of India. Many sources claimed that a legal case might be lodged against Azhar and his family over the accident in which his nephew 16-year-old Ajmal-ur-Rehman died.

Ajmal was the grandson of former Congress Rajya Sabha MP Khalil-ur-Rehman and Azhar's sister's son. However, denying all media reports, Khaleeq-ur-Rahman clarified that he and his family members did not approach police to register any case against Azhar and his family blaming them (Azahar's family) for Ajmal's death.

"We are together sharing our grief. It"s not true that I have lodged a complaint," stated the former Congress MP. Ajmal's body was cremated on Sunday evening.

Ayazuddin on Sunday met with an accident when he was riding his brand new 1000 cc imported Suzuki motorcycle with Ajmal. It has been reported that the bike slipped killing Ajmal in the impact.

Ayazuddin has been admitted in Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad. The latest medical bulletin from the Apollo super specialty hospital where Ayazuddin is undergoing treatment said, "His (Ayazuddin's) condition continues to be very critical and the patient is being managed in the Intensive Care Unit on ventilator and BP support." The bulletin added, "Neurological assessments are being performed to assess his brain condition, which could be a major concern. It is suspected that there may be a significant brain dysfunction due to anoxia during the period in which the patient was in a collapsed stage, which can be confirmed only after serial neurological tests."

Meanwhile, reports also claimed that Ayazuddin met with the accident while allegedly participating in a bike race over a bet money of whopping Rs 1 lakh. Though close friends and relatives overruled such allegations and speculations.
