Sourav Ganguly has given a major hint on his role as a politician in the future. The coveted former India cricketer cleared the air in his show named 'Dadagiri'.
Sourav Ganguly retired from international cricket in 2008 and then played his last IPL match in 2012. In the last decade or so, Ganguly has been involved in cricket administration.

He took over the charges in the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), and he served his time quite distinctively as the BCCI President as well. The former India player completed his tenure at the helm of Indian cricket, and is currently working as the Director of Cricket at Delhi Capitals.
Ganguly has been linked with a move into politics at various times. West Bengal's ruling party Trinamool Congress' supremo Mamata Banerjee is very close to Ganguly, whereas BJP has been in proximity with the former India captain. But the 'Prince of Calcutta' hasn't taken a step in the politics yet.
He also hosts a quiz show named 'Dadagiri' and recently, Bengal film superstar Dev was at his show, where he asked Sourav Ganguly what he will change if he becomes the CM of West Bengal or PM of India. And Sourav answered it in his princely manner.
"In our society, there is a thing like 'please do it'. It shouldn't be the way it is and it should be someone's right. My focus will be on the self-sustainability of the poor community," Ganguly said.
But the former captain then stated that he doesn't wish to join any political parties even in future, but welcomed all the delegates to come to his house if they wanted.
"Amar rajinitite kono interest nei. Ami konodin Rajniti Korbo o na (I have no interest in Politics. I won't ever join politics in my life)."
"But the people who come to my house, you guys can come whenever you want. I have no problem at all," the former India captain concluded.
