This century marked Kohli's 30th in Test cricket, allowing him to surpass the legendary Sir Don Bradman's record of 29 Test centuries.

This latest hundred is Kohli's 81st in international cricket and his 37th in first-class cricket. These exceptional figures secure his place among an elite group of cricketers with monumental achievements across all formats. With every run he adds, Kohli continues to set records, showcasing his immense skill, resilience, and dedication to the game. Along with 30 Test hundreds, Kohli has 50 ODI centuries and 1 T20I century as well.

3. Virat Kohli reaches 100 Centuries in Professional Cricket

Virat Kohli has reached 100 centuries in professional cricket as he got to his hundred in Perth. Kohli now has 81 international centuries, and along with that, he has scored 8 IPL centuries, 7 first-class and 4 List A tons.

4. Yashasvi Jaiswal Shines with a Century on Australian Debut

In his first game on Australian soil, Yashasvi Jaiswal made a statement with a splendid century, becoming only the third Indian after ML Jaisimha and Sunil Gavaskar to accomplish this feat. Scoring 161 before his dismissal, Jaiswal became the first Indian opener since KL Rahul in 2014 to reach a century in Australia.

5. Jaiswal and Rahul Break 38-Year-Old Partnership Record

Jaiswal and KL Rahul's opening partnership of 201 in Perth set a new record for India's highest opening stand in Australia, surpassing the previous 38-year-old record of 191 runs set by Sunil Gavaskar and Krishnamachari Srikkanth in Sydney in 1986.

With centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli in the second innings, Team India declared at 487/6 after 134.3 overs on Day 3. Recovering from a first-innings collapse where they scored only 150, India built a 533-run lead, setting Australia a formidable target of 534 runs with two days left to play.

7. Verstappen Clinches Fourth Straight F1 Title

Max Verstappen secured his fourth consecutive Formula One world championship with a fifth-place finish at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, where George Russell claimed the victory. Verstappen only needed to finish ahead of Lando Norris to seal the title, and his fifth-place finish positioned him just ahead of Norris, who trails by 63 points with only 60 points left in the season.

Tilak Varma continues his rich form with another century, this time representing Hyderabad in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The southpaw scored 151 runs in the tournament, thus completing his 3rd consecutive T20 century. He scored two centuries against South Africa in the recently concluded T20I series.
