Sports Minister will represent PCB at ICC meeting

Lahore, Sep 30 (UNI) Sports minister Najmuddin Khan will represent the PCB in the next month's International Cricket Council's (ICC) board meeting in Dubai.

The PCB was recently brought under the umbrella of sports ministry.

''Najmuddin Khan, the Sports Minister has expressed his desire to represent the PCB at next month's ICC meeting,'' the PCB's COO Shafqat Naghmi was reported as saying by the local media .

''The Sports Minister has now been holding the chairman's power and will represent the PCB at the next month ICC meeting. The ICC has been communicated about it,'' Naghmi added.

The ICC's board is scheduled to meet on October 14 and 15 in Dubai, and in the absence of a chairman, the Pakistan sports minister has informed the PCB that he would be attending the ICC meet on behalf of the board.
