Sreesanth launched a fresh attack on Gautam Gambhir for calling him a fixer during the Legends League Cricket (LLC) match between India Capitals and Gujarat Giants on Wednesday.
In the match which Gautam Gambhir-led India Capitals won by 12 runs, Sreesanth stared down at the former India opener after being hit for boundaries. Gambhir retaliated and allegedly called him a "fixer" later during a heated exchange of words.

Sreesanth revealed about the incident through a couple of videos on Instagram, and slammed Gambhir for picking fights with his colleagues every now and then. He said that he does not even have respect for Virender Sehwag and can never talk good about Virat Kohli.
Gautam Gambhir also posted a picture of him on Instagram with a cryptic message which read - "Smile when the world is all about attention!"
Sreesanth lashed out at Gambhir in the comment section of the post and called his an arrogant and classless individual. He asserted that the BJP MP is not bigger than the Supreme Court which gave him a clean chit in 2019 for his alleged role in the IPL 2023 spot-fixing scandal.
"You have exceeded the boundaries of a sportsman and a brother, and above all, you represent the people. Yet, you continue to engage in conflicts with every cricketer. What is the matter with you? All I did was smile and observe, and you labeled me a fixer? Seriously? Are you above the Supreme Court? You have no authority to speak in such a manner and say whatever you please," Sreesanth commented.
"You even verbally abused the umpires, and yet you speak of smiling? You are an arrogant and utterly classless individual who lacks any form of respect for those who supported you. Until yesterday, I always held respect for you and your family. However, you used the derogatory term "fixer" not just once, but seven or eight times.
“You even resorted to using the F-word towards the umpires and myself, persistently trying to provoke me. Anyone who has experienced what I have endured would never forgive you. Deep down, you know that what you said and did was wrong. Im sure even God wont forgive you. You didn't even come to the field after that..Come on, God is watching everything," he added.
The commissioner of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) issued a legal notice to Sreesanth. The notice mentioned that Sreesanth was guilty of breaching his contract while playing in the T20 tournament.
It also stated that talks with the pacer will only be initiated once he removes the videos criticising the player within the preview of the league. The notice also said to have stressed that the on-field umpires did not report mention of use of any expletives by Gambhir on the field.
