Sreesanth dreams of taking maximum wickets

Kozhikode, Feb 23 (UNI) Confident of India winning the World Cup in the Caribbean next month, speedster S Sreesanth today said he was aiming to become the top wicket taker in the mega-event.

''I am dreaming to take maximum wickets aimed at bringing the World Cup to the country,'' the beaming pace bowler told reporters here after releasing a souvenir in connection with the Indo-Pak veterans ODI series starting February 25 here.

Asserting that India had the potential to win the prestigious Cup, he said the side was in good form as proved in the recent performances and every individual member was working hard.

Referring to India's world cup victory under the captaincy of Kapil Dev in 1983, he said 'we are taking encouragement from the achievement' and would strive hard to make the country proud again.

''Even yesterday I watched the country's World Cup winning performance on TV,'' he said.

About reports quoting him as somewhat aggressive on the ground, he said ''everybody is aggressive' to win the game but others do not show their sentiments.'' UNI
