By Staff

New Delhi, Nov 24 (UNI) Fast bowlers S Sreesanth and Rudra Pratap Singh will miss the second test too as they have not fully recovered from their injuries.

The duo did not find a place in the playing XI for the ongoing first Test here because they were declared unfit. R P Singh has a thigh strain, Sreesanth injured shoulder has yet not fully healed.

Dr Anand Joshi, the BCCI's medical officer, had said yesterday that Sreesanth will not be able to play in the second test match against Pakistan at Eden Gardens as his injury requires time to heal.

Now BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah has confirmed that both fast bowlers will have to wait for some more time saying,''RP Singh and Sreesanth have been ruled out for the second Test.'' The second Test is slated from November 30 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Sreesanth had fractured a bone in his left shoulder while fielding in the fifth ODI against Pakistan last Sunday at Jaipur.
