Kochi, Apr 3: As Kerala erupted in joy with Team India winning the World Cup 2011 final against Sri Lanka on Saturday, Apr 2, it was celebration time at the home of fast bowler S Sreesanth in the state.

The elated parents of the Kerala pacer told reporters, "We are very happy that India has won".

Sreesanth's father, Santhakumaran Nair, said, "It is due to God's grace that Sree could play in the final and it is again due to God's grace that India has won the World Cup."

Sreesanth's mother said she was happy that the pacer, who was born in 1983, the year India last lifted the World Cup, was part of the winning team that won the trophy after 28 years.
