SRH Team 2024: 2016 champions Sunrisers Hyderabad and nine other franchises are looking to bolster their squad strength during the IPL Auction 2024 at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on Tuesday (December 19).
The Orange Army made headlines for breaking the bank at the IPL 2024 Auction as they spent a staggering Rs 20.50 crore to purchase the services of Australia captain Pat Cummins.

SRH finished the previous two seasons around the bottom of the standings. Hyderabad hasn't been able to work any magic, even with their talented T20 players. After lavishing a lot of money on Harry Brook, SRH was unable to assemble a strong squad to face the others. SRH appeared to be under strain on numerous times; they were unable to meet their own standards in both bowling and batting.
Heinrich Klassen was the lone batter who took charge of most games in the batting order; no other batter was able to provide him with any backup. SRH appeared to be in control and in a winning position on numerous times, but its ineffective batting lineup panicked to take the lead.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, a new ball bowler, was also off-kilter, and the SRH did not have their greatest advantage of the season-wickets in the powerplay. Umran Malik also missed a couple of games because of unidentified problems.
A few guys can win you a few games, but not the entire tournament, as SRH demonstrated so well. For the second time in the previous three seasons, SRH did not place at the top.
