IPL 2025 Schedule: Last season’s runners up Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) open their Indian Premier League Season 18 - IPL 2025 campaign at home against inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday, March 23.
Pat Cummins-led SRH have been drawn in the same group as Mumbai Indians (MI), Gujarat Titans (GT), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Delhi Capitals (DC), meaning the 2016 champions will face these teams and a team parallelly seeded from the other group twice in the league phase.

This group seeding will mean that SRH will lock horns with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) twice, and the remaining teams - southern rivals Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) once in the round-robin stage.
After hosting RR in their opening fixture, SRH will next host LSG at the Uppal before travelling not a big distance for their first away match in Vizag’s Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy Cricket Stadium to take on DC.
SRH will later host the likes of GT, PBKS, MI, DC and KKR in their other five home matches, while they also travel to Kolkata, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Lucknow for their remaining away matches.
After Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head’s record-breaking showing in the powerplay to go with Heinrich Klaasen’s finishing last year, SRH will be one of the teams to watch this season with more firepower added in the form of Ishan Kishan and Abhinav Manohar.
Cummins, the skipper, may be doubtful for the start of the season. But SRH will be hoping to do one better and win the title this season, when they play 12 night matches and 2 afternoon games. Here is a look at SRH IPL 2025 Schedule:
