SRH vs CSK: 'Shivam Dube must for India in T20 WC' - CSK batter hailed by Fans, India legends on Twitter after Blitzkrieg in Hyderabad

Chennai Super Kings batter Shivam Dube has earned the respect of fans and ex-players after yet another brilliant batting display against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday (April 5).

The CSK batter came into bat on a difficult pitch and created mayhem with his hard-hitting and powerful batting performance. On a pitch which made most of the batters struggle, Dube found the middle with ease and scored a fantastic 45 runs off just 24 balls.

He came into bat when CSK were 54 for 2 after 7 overs, and started to find the sweet spot from the get-go. Although the pitch was a bit sluggish, the southpaw went about his business with ease. He hit 2 fours and 4 sixes and took on the likes of Mayank Markande, T Natarajan and others.

Dube could have inflicted further damage but was dismissed by the bowling of SRH captain Pat Cummins. The social media and former players took note of Dube's immense muscle and hailed the CSK batter for his impactful knock.

Shivam Dube is the only Indian to score more sixes than fours in the IPL. The Indian has hit 83 sixes and 67 fours in his IPL career.

Former India player Irfan Pathan says Dube's six-hitting prowess is way better than any other Indian players.

"Right now Shivam Dube is way ahead of any one in Indian cricket as far as spin hitting ability is concern! Indian selectors should keep a close eye on him for the World Cup," Pathan wrote on social media.

Yuvraj Singh believes the CSK batter has to be in the India squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Shivam Dube's effect was palpable for CSK as after his dismissal, the Yellow Army only managed to add 46 runs in their last 40 balls. CSK have finished 165 for 5 at the end of their full quota of 20 overs against SRH.
