SRH vs KKR: Full List Of Teams With Most 200-Plus Scores In IPL History

SRH vs KKR: The Indian Premier League has seen its fair share of high-scoring thrillers over the years, but recent seasons have redefined what was once considered a daunting total.

As teams continue to embrace fearless, aggressive batting, the benchmark of 200 runs - once seen as a winning total - has become increasingly commonplace.

SRH vs KKR

According to updated statistics following the final league encounter of IPL 2025, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) currently hold the record for the most 200+ scores in IPL history, having breached the 200-run mark 34 times. Closely following them are Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) with 33 such scores, while Punjab Kings (PBKS) have made a late surge to move into third with 31.

IPL Teams with Most 200+ Scores

Rank Team 200+ Scores
1 Chennai Super Kings (CSK) 34
2 Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) 33
3 Punjab Kings (MI) 31
4 Mumbai Indians (MI) 29
5 Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) 29
6 Rajasthan Royals (RR) 26
7 Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) 26
8 Delhi Capitals (DC) 19
9 Gujarat Titans (GT) 15
10 Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) 12

While CSK lead the tally, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have arguably made the biggest impact in recent seasons, especially when it comes to setting record-breaking totals. Their recent blitzkrieg at the Arun Jaitley Stadium against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on May 25, 2025, where they posted a staggering 278/3, marked the third-highest total in IPL history.

What makes SRH stand out is the sheer audacity and consistency of their power-packed performances. Incredibly, five of the top six highest team totals in IPL history now belong to SRH, further cementing their status as the most explosive batting side in the modern era. They are also the only team globally to have recorded 5 250+ scores in T20 franchise cricket.

In their latest masterclass, Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, and Heinrich Klaasen orchestrated a batting onslaught. While Sharma gave the innings early momentum, Head dominated the middle overs with a blazing 76 off 40 balls. The real carnage, however, came from Klaasen, whose unbeaten 105 off just 39 balls was a brutal display of clean hitting, peppered with nine sixes.

This performance not only lifted SRH's tally of 200+ totals to 26 but also served as a reminder of how modern T20 cricket is evolving. With pitches getting flatter and batters growing bolder, 200 is no longer safe - it's simply a platform.

As the IPL continues to grow, both in scale and spectacle, fans can expect even more such fireworks in seasons to come. For now, Chennai Super Kings remain the statistical kings of the 200+ club - but Sunrisers Hyderabad are making a compelling case to soon rule the narrative.
