SRH vs KKR: Heinrich Klaasen Slams 2nd Century- Full List Of Hundreds In IPL 2025

SRH vs KKR: The IPL 2025 season witnessed another batting masterclass as Sunrisers Hyderabad's Heinrich Klaasen became the latest entrant into the elite list of century-makers, hammering a scintillating 105* off just 39 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on May 25.

His explosive knock powered SRH to a colossal 278/3 in 20 overs-the third highest totals in IPL history.

Klaasen's innings was a display of clean, calculated hitting as he struck 7 fours and 9 towering sixes, finishing with an eye-watering strike rate of 269.23. His century was the 8th of the IPL 2025 season and the third by an SRH player this year. Klaasen came in with a solid platform set by openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma and capitalized on it in brutal fashion. Head scored a rapid 76 off 40, while Abhishek blazed away to 32 off just 16.

With this knock, Klaasen joined an impressive list of batters who have notched up centuries in the ongoing season:

Centurions in IPL 2025

Vaibhav Suryavanshi (RR) - 101 (7 matches, 252 runs, SR: 206.55)

Mitchell Marsh (LSG) - 117 (12 matches, 560 runs, Avg: 46.67, SR: 161.84)

KL Rahul (DC) - 112* (13 matches, 539 runs, Avg: 53.90)

Heinrich Klaasen (SRH) - 105* (13 matches, 482 runs, Avg: 43.82, SR: 172.14)

Abhishek Sharma (SRH) - 141 (13 innings, 439 runs, SR: 193.39)

Priyansh Arya (PBKS) - 103 (13 matches, 362 runs, SR: 184.69)

Ishan Kishan (SRH) - 106* (13 innings, 354 runs, Avg: 35.40)

Sai Sudharsan (GT) - 108* (14 matches, 679 runs, Avg: 52.23)

Klaasen's effort came in a game with little on the line for SRH in terms of playoff contention but will certainly be remembered as one of the finest knocks of the season. His blistering form, combined with contributions from Head and Kishan, helped SRH set a daunting target for KKR.

Sunil Narine was the only bowler who found some success for KKR, taking 2 wickets, including those of both openers. But the rest of the bowling unit came under severe punishment as Klaasen took charge in the death overs.

With this century, Klaasen has further cemented his reputation as one of the most dangerous middle-order batters in T20 cricket with his second IPL hundred and given SRH fans something to cheer about as they look ahead to the next season.
