Sunrisers Hyderabad will host Kolkata Knight Riders in match 47 of the IPL 2023 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday (May 4) with the match set to start at 7:30 PM IST.
SRH led by Aiden Markram will be keen to continue their winning run and get back to winning ways at home, while KKR led by Nitish Rana will look to bounce back from their sixth loss of the campaign and, like Sunrisers, look to keep their playoff hopes alive.

SRH defended 197 against Delhi Capitals in New Delhi. But before that result, the Sunrisers had suffered defeats to DC and Mumbai Indians at home as well as Chennai Super Kings away from home.
Earlier, SRH had lost to Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants in their opening two matches before they bounced back with a victory over Punjab Kings at home followed by a win over KKR in the reverse fixture in Kolkata.
KKR, on the other hand, suffered a 7-wicket loss to defending champions Gujarat Titans at home. Earlier, the two-champions had recorded wins over Royal Challengers Bangalore (twice) and GT (reverse fixture), but has lost to CSK, DC, MI, PBKS and SRH (reverse fixture).
In the reverse fixture, SRH had beaten KKR by 23 runs. SRH rode on Harry Brook's maiden IPL hundred to set a target of 229. In response, skipper Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh's fighting fifties went in vain for the hosts.
