SRH vs LSG IPL 2024 Playing 11: Sunrisers Hyderabad will be up against Lucknow Super Giants in a crucial IPL 2024 tie at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday (May 8).
The two teams are too close to comfort at the moment in points table. SRH are placed 4th and LSG are in 5th, both have 12 points in 11 matches, but the Orange Army have a better Net Run Rate.

Both teams are also coming on the back of defeats. Sunrisers Hyderabad failed to defeat against Mumbai Indians, whereas LSG were schooled by Kolkata Knight Riders in their own backyard. It is going to be a monumental tie for both teams as the winner of the team will be a step ahead towards the playoffs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad brought in Mayank Agarwal for the last match but he only made 5 runs. It is likely that the veteran may be demoted to the bench and Rahul Tripathi may come in his place. Apart from that, SRH have the best team possible and may continue with the same unit.
LSG are certain to make a few changes to their lineup ahead of the SRH match. Ashton Turner is likely to make way for Quinton de Kock. We may also see Arshin Kulkarni relieved off his Impact Player role and someone like Krishnappa Gowtham can come in who can serve multifaceted roles. Mohsin Khan had to be substituted due to a concussion in the last match and we may witness his replacement Yudhvir Singh playing this match.
SRH Probable XI: Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Rahul Tripathi, Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Abdul Samad, Shahbaz Ahmed, Marco Jansen, Pat Cummins (c), Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan
SRH Impact Player: Mayank Markande/Jaydev Unadkat
LSG Probable XI: KL Rahul (c & wk), Quinton de Kock, Marcus Stoinis, Deepak Hooda, Nicholas Pooran, Ayush Badoni, Krunal Pandya, Ravi Bishnoi, Naveen-ul-Haq, Yudhvir Singh, Yash Thakur
LSG Impact Player: Krishnappa Gowtham
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) hold the advantage as they will be playing at their home and have a better quality of players in their ranks.
