SRH vs LSG: Travis Head’s Blazing 47 Off 28 Ends in Flames as Prince Yadav Strikes – Twitter Erupts!

SRH vs LSG: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) suffered a setback in their high-octane encounter against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) as in-form opener Travis Head was bowled out by Prince Yadav.

The dismissal came in the eighth over, shifting momentum in the match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal.

SRH vs LSG Travis Head Falls for 47 off 28 as Prince Yadav Strikes at a Crucial Moment

Head, who had been given two lifelines earlier, was looking dangerous, scoring 47 off just 28 balls, including five boundaries and three sixes. However, his aggressive intent cost him as he failed to connect with a full-length delivery from Prince Yadav, which rattled his middle and off stumps. The crowd fell silent as LSG's young pacer celebrated his big breakthrough, with Zaheer Khan from the LSG dugout seen clapping in appreciation.

Prince Yadav Delivers at the Right Moment
Coming in as a new bowler in the eighth over, Prince Yadav made an immediate impact. His very first delivery, a short ball on the pads, was dispatched for four by Nitish Kumar Reddy. However, he quickly adjusted his length and pace, eventually outfoxing Head with a perfectly executed full delivery.

The over continued with Heinrich Klaasen, SRH's explosive middle-order batter, walking in. Prince Yadav bowled a low full-toss on off-stump, which Klaasen drove hard but could only manage a single to long-on. A wide followed as Prince Yadav attempted another yorker but strayed down the leg side. Klaasen then managed to get off the mark properly with a well-timed straight drive for two runs before ending the over with a dug-out defensive stroke by Nitish Reddy.

At the end of eight overs, SRH were 80 for 3, with Nitish Kumar Reddy unbeaten on 20 off 12 balls and Klaasen just getting started on 3 off 2 deliveries.

A Crucial Phase in the Game
Earlier, SRH had started aggressively, but LSG fought back, thanks to a double strike from Shardul Thakur, who removed Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan in consecutive deliveries. Despite the setback, Head had continued his attacking approach, looking to capitalise on the powerplay and middle overs.

However, his departure has left SRH needing to rebuild, with much now resting on the shoulders of Klaasen and Reddy. The timeout taken before Prince Yadav's over also indicated that both teams were recalibrating their strategies.

LSG will now look to capitalise on the breakthrough, while SRH will hope their middle order steps up to maintain the scoring rate. With big hitters like Abdul Samad still to come, SRH remain in the contest, but losing Head at this juncture could prove costly.

Here's how fans reacted to Travis Head's dismissal and his crucial knock for SRH:

"PRINCE YADAV FROM DELHI CLEANS UP TRAVIS HEAD!" - A fan hyped up the young pacer's stunning delivery.

"This collapse-saving innings of Travis Head reminded me of the GOAT Virat Kohli, who used to do the same for RCB!" - Another fan compared Head's effort to Kohli's legendary rescue knocks.

Social media was abuzz with reactions, as SRH fans hoped Klaasen and Reddy would carry the innings forward!
