SRH vs MI: In a poignant tribute to the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, south Kashmir, players from Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians, along with match officials, donned black armbands during their IPL 2025 match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
The gesture was accompanied by a minute's silence before the start of play, honoring the 26 lives lost and several others injured in the tragic incident at Baisaran, a popular tourist destination.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) further marked the occasion by canceling cheerleaders and fireworks for the match, emphasizing the somber mood and respect for the victims and their families.
Mr. Devajit Saikia, Honorary Secretary, BCCI said: "The cricketing community is deeply shocked and anguished by the tragic loss of innocent lives in the gruesome terror attack at Pahalgam yesterday. On behalf of the BCCI, while condemning this ghastly and cowardly act with strongest possible words, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayers for the departed souls. In sharing their pain and grief, we stand hand in hand at this hour of tragedy."
