Sunrisers Hyderabad's season has taken a bad start and needs a swift turnaround. And they take on Punjab Kings in their next match on Sunday (April 9) at home.
Hyderabad lost their last game against Lucknow and need a better outing against a buoyant Punjab outfit, who have won their first two games of the season. Punjab beat KKR and RR respectively in their first two encounters, and will be keen to continue the winning momentum against a depleted SRH side.

Sunrisers and Punjab have contrasting forms coming into this match. While Aiden Markram's SRH have lost two matches, Shikhar Dhawan's PBKS are soaring high with a buoyant start to their campaign.
SRH have looked out of sorts in all departments, and their big-money players so far have only disappointed. Punjab's unit has looked compact and a lot more balanced with youngsters also contributing heavily in the matches - like Prabhsimran Singh and Arshdeep Singh who have made significant impacts in the first two matches.
Although SRH will be playing at home, the balance of the game is tilted heavily in favour of the visiting Kings from Punjab. Sunrisers need to get back to winning ways as another defeat can have monumental ramifications for their playoff hopes. Will the Sun rise in Uppal? It looks difficult at the moment.
