Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will look to do the double and pile on more misery on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) when the Southern rivals clash in match 41 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday (April 25).
Pat Cummins’ SRH head into the contest on the back of a thumping 67-run win against Delhi Capitals, while Faf Du Plessis-led RCB are fresh from their seventh defeat of the season following a heartbreaking 1-run loss to Kolkata Knight Riders.

SRH batters continued their onslaught as Travis Head’s 89 off 32 balls saw them post 266 against DC before bundling out the opposition for 199 in Delhi. This was SRH’s third 250 plus total this season with highest total coming against RCB in the reverse fixture in Bengaluru.
RCB, meanwhile, conceded 222 against KKR, but fought back to get in the driver’s seat before a collapse in the middle overs saw them fall agonisingly short of the target in Kolkata. RCB bowlers have taken a pounding this season and will need to brace themselves for another in Hyderabad.
The Bengaluru-based side, however, will take a little confidence from having gone close to 200 plus targets in their run chases this season, including the clash against SRH at home, where they scored 262 in response to the Hyderabad-based side’s 287.
The two teams have locked horns in some memorable clashes in the past including the final in 2016. This will be their 25th meeting in IPL and the eighth clash in Bengaluru. Here is a look at SRH vs RCB head to head numbers and all the other details.
