Sunrisers Hyderabad host Royal Challengers Bangalore in match 65 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday (May 18) with the match set to start at 7:30 PM IST.
Aiden Markram's SRH head into the match on the back of their eighth defeat of this season, while RCB led by Faf Du Plessis are fresh from their sixth win of the campaign. SRH has won 4 of 12, while RCB has won 6 in 12 matches.

The two sides will clash for the first time this season at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad, which will host it's final match of the season. SRH have lost five and won one match at their home venue in six matches so far.
SRH opened their home campaign with a loss to Rajasthan Royals, but bounced back with a win over Punjab Kings before losing the next four matches to Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants.

In the third fixture at the venue, MI set a target of 193 after being put into bat first and in response SRH could only get to 178 following a slow start to the run chase.
In the fourth match, SRH restricted DC to 144, but Axar Patel's all round brilliance saw the visitors leave the field with a victory. In that match, it was even share of wickets between the pacers and spinners, who claimed six wickets each.
In the fifth, KKR bowlers led by Varun Chakaravarthy pulled off a win from jaws of defeat as SRH, who were on course for victory, failed to cross the line after being restricted to 166/8 in their pursuit of 172.
In the sixth and most recent outing in Hyderabad, SRH set a challenging total of 182 and were well on course to victory until Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran took the tie in LSG's favour with four balls to spare.
