IPL 2024 SRH vs RCB: Bowling Squad Comparison

The SRH bowling squad is quite pacer-heavy and they are seriously lacking in seasoned spinners this season. Mayank Markande is the only spinner who is delivering decent performances regularly. Their pace-battery is packed with star players like Pat Cummins, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T. Natarajan and all are doing great in this season so far.

On the other hand, RCB remains a batter-heavy team throughout their history which cost them dearly almost in every season. In this campaign, the problem is more prominent, as the squad is completely devoid of any seasoned bowler. Reece Topley and Vijaykumar Vyshak were showing some prospects but that would not be enough for RCB to turn the wheel for them.

IPL 2024 SRH vs RCB: Who will Pick the Maximum Wickets?

Pat Cummins (SRH): The Australian right-arm fast bowler is spearheading the SRH bowling attack with exceptional brilliance. Cummins bagged 9 wickets in seven matches. With all the international cricket experience, the SRH skipper will be crucial in the early overs against RCB batters like Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis.

T. Natarajan (SRH): The left-arm medium pacer hails from Tamil Nadu and at the start of this season he secured his spot in the final XI with brilliant performances. Currently, Natarajan is the highest wicket-taker for SRH with 10 wickets in only five matches. In the last match against DC, the 33-year-old pacer got 4 wickets with an economy rate of 4.8. SRH will rely upon him also in the match against RCB.

Yash Dayal (RCB): The left-arm fast-medium bowler is currently the highest wicket-taker for RCB with 7 wickets in 7 matches. Though he leaked too many runs in the early phase of the tournament but displayed some good performances in the last two matches. He will be expected to continue the same against the big hitters filling the SRH batting line-up.

Both of the teams are known for their batting prowess but SRH in this season exceeded all the expectations one can hope for. They made two highest-ever innings records in T20 history, in the gap of a few days. Despite being another batting super-power of this season RCB had failed to do the same as their rivals. After losing six matches in a row it is now very difficult for RCB to qualify for the playoffs. Despite all these factors, a very high-scoring battle is expected from this fixture as both of the teams try their best to improve their position in the table.
