Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) will battle for a spot in the final when the former champions lock horns in the IPL 2024 Qualifier 2 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday (May 24).
Pat Cummins’ SRH head into the contest on the back of a thumping 8-wicket loss to Kolkata Knight Riders in the Qualifier 1, while Sanju Samson-led RR are fresh from a 4-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Eliminator.

SRH’s strong batting unit failed as Rahul Tripathi played a lone hand with a fifty before Cummins’ late cameo to reach 159, but KKR in response finished the chase inside 14 overs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to earn a direct entry to the final.
