SRH vs RR IPL 2024: Four Batters Who Can Score Most Runs in Qualifier 2

SRH vs RR: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will lock horns with Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Qualifier 2 of IPL 2024. The highly-anticipated fixture will kick off at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on May 24, Friday at 7:30 PM (IST).

Earlier, SRH surrendered at the hands of KKR in the first qualifier. However, they have one more chance to redeem themselves but without any margin for error. On the contrary, RR defeated RCB by 4 wickets in the Eliminator to remain in the fight.

Predicting the top 4 run-scorers in SRH vs RR IPL 2024 Qualifier 2

SRH and RR faced each other only once in the league stage and it was a closely fought contest. The Sunrisers somehow found a way to pull off the ropes against the Royals as they won by 1 run in Hyderabad.

In terms of the head-to-head, SRH have a slight edge as they won 10 games whereas RR won 9 games. The winner of Qualifier 2 will lock horns with KKR in the IPL 2024 final on May 26, Sunday. Let's now take a look at the four batsmen who can muster the most runs in the Qualifier 2 of the competition.

1. Travis Head: Travis Head is one of the batters who is expected to dictate terms in the knockout game against the Royals. The left-hander has been in supreme form this season, mustering 600 runs and is currently the leading run-getter for SRH. He scored 58 off 44 balls including 6 fours and 3 sixes against RR in the league stage this season.

2. Sanju Samson: Sanju Samson has been in scintillating form in the ongoing edition of the IPL. He had a breakthrough season so far, aggregating 521 runs, which is his best ever run-scoring tally in a single season. Apart from his batting credentials, he has led the team ever so well and we expect him to add flesh to the scoreboard in the crucial game against SRH.

3. Abhishek Sharma: Abhishek Sharma has been the pick of the young batters in the IPL. The uncapped Indian player surprised everyone with his blistering batting exploits this season and the Sunrisers immensely benefited from his aggressive stroke-play, especially in the powerplay overs. He scored 470 runs at an impressive strike rate of 207.05.

4. Riyan Parag: Riyan Parag has displayed tremendous maturity with the bat for the Royals this season. By combining his gameplay with caution and a bit of aggression, he reaped rewards, scoring 567 runs this season, which is his best scoring tally in a single season. He scored 77 off 49 (8 fours, 4 sixes) in the league stage match against SRH.
